Description
From 1724 Frantoio Tavian preserves the know-how and the traditions that derive from centuries of experience in the production of the country products. The heart of the activity is based in Segno, in the hinterland of Vado Ligure (Italy), in a small scour along the shores of the Segno creek.
In 2013 Frantoio Tavian has been rewarded by Unioncamere Liguria, as part of the European project Medolico, for the dedication that they have in carrying on an activity based on traditions with a particular attention to the environment and innovation.
Frantoio Tavian and Azienda Agricola Parodi, decided to combine Chinotto and Extra-Virgin oil by grinding at the same time the Taggiasche olives and the well-known Chinotto from Savona (IT).
The Chin’Oro oil presents firm flavouring of orange blossom in a flavor profile balanced and delicate with an after taste pleasantly sour. The use in cooking is extremely well-rounded: marinating, raw and cooked fish, shellfish, steak tartare, fish sticks and steak sticks, Bresaola and salads, It can be used also to flavour cakes and biscuits.
